ORLANDO, Fla. — A 24-year-old man is dead in Orlando after his car fell from SR-408 to I-4 Monday morning, according to police.
Investigators said the man was traveling westbound on I-4 before exiting onto the ramp to State Route 408, where his car fell from SR-408 to I-4.
The crash closed both portions of the freeways, including the I-4 express lanes. Both roads have since reopened.
The driver, Arcadio Shakur De Jesus, recently moved to Orlando and was working at a local restaurant. He aspired to be a chef and open a food truck one day.
The cause of the crash remains under investigations, but authorities believe speed may have been a factor in this accident.
