A man from Clearwater is facing vehicular homicide after he crashed his car during a police chase killing his passenger.
Amonie Major-Boone, 19 was speeding, switching lanes and tailgating down Douglas Avenue, he lost control of the vehicle which flipped multiple times and struck a power pole, and several trees.
Police identified the victim as 19 year old Gerard Marshall Fils-Aime.
Major-Boone was released on 20,000 bail Wednesday morning.
