A 19-year-old Plant City man died in a flip-over accident on I-4 Friday night when he lost control of his vehicle while speeding.
The Plant City man, was traveling westbound “at a high rate of speed” around 11:00 p.m. near Lakeland on I-4, according to the accident report.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, “the vehicle departed the interstate, entered the north shoulder, struck a fence, and overturned before finally colliding with a tree.”
The driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
