Tampa Police Investigate Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Hillsborough Avenue

Pedestrian Crash on Hillsborough AvenueTampa, FL (May 12, 2020) – Tampa police are currently investigating a fatal pedestrian crash on Hillsborough Avenue that occurred early Tuesday morning. The crash happened shortly before 5 AM at the intersection of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Dale Mabry Highway, according to police. A pedestrian was killed in the incident.

The eastbound lanes of Hillsborough Avenue were closed off for several hours while officers investigated the scene. No more information is currently available at this time.
