Pasco County, Fl. – A 20-year-old Port Richey woman has died from a single-vehicle crash on Thursday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, she was traveling eastbound on SR-54, approaching Country Place Blvd in the inside lane, when the driver, a 25-year-old New Port Richey man, lost control for unknown reasons.
The vehicle traveled and struck a concrete median, rotated, then overturned. Both of the occupants were ejected upon impact and suffered serious injuries.
The passenger of the overturned vehicle was transported to an area hospital and later died from her injuries.
