An early-morning crash on the Courtney Campbell Causeway Wednesday killed two men. Police closed the roadway in both directions Wednesday and remained closed throughout rush hour.
Tampa police say the crash happened on the Clearwater side of the causeway but remained in their jurisdiction.
Witnesses called 911 to report a vehicle flipped, and its occupants were ejected, police said. Two men from the vehicle died at the scene, another in critical condition, and a woman was hospitalized with internal injuries, according to police.
