A man was hit and killed on Dale Mabry near the Humphrey Street intersection when a vehicle struck him as he was walking across the street.
The man attempted to walk across Dale Mabry when a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Tampa man struck him around 7:15 a.m., troopers said.
An ambulance rushed the man to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol did not release the name or the age of the deceased man.
