The Florida Highway Patrol says a car collided with a dairy truck on U.S. 19 in Palm Harbor Tuesday morning.
Police officials say a Nissan Altima and a dairy truck collided just north of Curlew Road at about 5:20 a.m.
The driver of the Nissan died from their injuries. The condition of the truck driver is unknown.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
The crash has shut down all northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 19. Drivers should look for an alternate route and expect delays.
