On Thursday, there was a collision that occurred at Walsingham Road and North 137th Street. The driver ran a red light at the intersection and hit another vehicle on the road that was heading south.
The man who ran the red light was not injured in the crash, but the woman he hit died in Northside Hospital due to her injuries. He was charged with manslaughter and his bond was set at $60,000. He is currently being held at Pinellas County Jail.
The victim of the crash was not identified by the police.
