A three-vehicle crash near Sarasota Bradenton International Airport killed two people and injured five Monday, June 21, 2021 at approximately 7:30 p.m.. According to the Florida state trooper on the scene, the crash occurred when a vehicle making a right turn out of a parking lot in the 8400 block of U.S. 41 was struck by two other vehicles.
The two occupants pulling onto U.S. 41 were killed, and included a 78-year-old male from Erlanger, Kentucky, and a 77-year-old female, from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. The accident is under investigation as of the writing of this article.
