One person died in a three-vehicle crash in Sarasota County Monday July 8, 2022. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash occurred Monday night along US 41 at Inlet Boulevard. A 47-year-old man, driving a Lincoln Town Car, quickly drove up behind a Honda SUV. To avoid crashing, the man swerved into another lane and lost control, side-swiping the Honda.
Then, the 47-year-old man crossed a median and crashed into a pickup truck. The two vehicles collided, and the Lincoln driver died at the scene.
