Tampa Bay Bicyclist Killed in Hit and Run

Just before midnight Saturday, December 11, a Tampa Bay bicyclist was struck and killed near Interstate 4 and Interstate 75 interchange, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office stated.

Deputies believe the bicyclist was struck by a red 2006-2010 Jeep Commander. The Jeep was headed south on Williams Road when the front driver’s side hit the bicyclist.

The Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office has not released the name of the victim.
