St. Petersburg Police are asking for help identifying the drivers of two vehicles after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Christmas evening.
A 56-year-old man was walking along the north sidewalk of 18th Avenue S near 20th Street S when he stepped off the curb to cross the street.
St. Petersburg police said a driver of a blue Kia was traveling westbound at the time and hit the gentleman. Seconds later, a gray sedan (un
known make/model) struck the man while he was down on the pavement. The man died at the scene, police said.
Neither driver stayed at the scene. St. Petersburg police ask that anyone with information about the vehicles contact them at 727-893-7780.
