A pedestrian died Saturday night while attempting to cross Missouri Avenue N, said Largo police.
The accident happened around 10:51 p.m. north of Largo High School. Police said a man left Luke’s Sports Shack Bar & Grill at 999 Missouri Ave. N and tried to walk east across the southbound lanes.
A pickup truck driver headed south struck the pedestrian in the middle lane, police said. The injured man died from injures.
Police said alcohol nor drugs were a factor regarding the pickup driver. The name of the pedestrian was not released.
