A 47-year-old motorcyclist died on Sunday, three days after he collided with another vehicle.
The crash occurred Thursday at 6:36 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said, at the intersection of Shady Hills Road and Fringe Tree Drive.
The motorcyclist was headed south on Shady Hills Road, near the Full Gospel Assembly Church.
Meanwhile, a 64-year-old man from Spring Hill was driving east in the church driveway, officials said, when he tried to make a left turn onto Shady Hills Road. He turned into the path of the motorcyclist, authorities said, hitting the front of the motorcycle and throwing the younger man off of his bike.
The 47-year-old man wore a helmet but suffered serious injuries. He went to a local hospital, where he died.
