A hit-and-run crash in Largo left a bicyclist in critical condition on Thursday, August 18, 2022.
The Largo Police Department said the crash occurred at the intersection of NB Frontage Road at 142nd Ave. North around 8:15 p.m. Police said the bicyclist was heading down the north bike lane and passed through the intersection when an SUV made a right turn onto Frontage Road. The SUV hit the bike, causing the bicyclist to fall off.
The bicyclist went to a local hospital to treat his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
