(09/30/2020 – St. Petersburg, FL – Tampa Bay Times)
Tuesday night, four teenagers were hurt in an accident involving one vehicle in St. Petersburg. The local police stated that the 2003 Mazda was speeding being recklessly operated by a 16-year-old at 11p.m. when the vehicle hit a curb by 7750 26th Ave N.
The vehicle then hydroplaned and struck a tree. The St. Petersburg Fire Rescue stated that the teen operating the vehicle suffered life threatening injuries. The passengers were all hurt – two of them having minor injuries and the third having critical injuries. They were taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg.
No names have been released. And none of the teens in the vehicle had a driver’s license. There is an ongoing investigation.
