
TAMPA, Fla — A 21-year-old Brandon man is dead after a crash on the Howard Frankland Bridge, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The timeline, however, remains a mystery.
Florida Highway Patrol says the 21-year-old Brandon man was driving a 2003 Lexus sedan that collided with the wall and ended up in Old Tampa Bay. His body was found Monday near the span by local police and members of the U.S. Coast Guard Sector of St. Petersburg.
The Florida Highway Patrol indicated the man wore a seatbelt during the crash.
