HOURS: 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
COMPENSATION: Negotiable based on experience

Our established Pinellas County Plaintiff’s Personal Injury Law Firm is currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our team in our Clearwater, Florida office.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pre-Litigation Paralegal manages all aspects of personal injury cases, from beginning to end. Our Pre-Litigation Paralegal must be able to gather, analyze and research information and documents; manage a moderate to high-volume caseload; must be able to multi-task, prioritize and have excellent attention to detail; must be a positive team-player and able to function in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.
Our Pre-Litigation Paralegal will handle all pre-suit communications and act as the center of communication for and between the client, attorney, medical providers, lien holders, insurance companies; coordinate and manage medical treatment care for clients as necessary; educate the client on the case progression processes and set appropriate client expectations; escalate issues to the attorney as appropriate; gather all case related medical records and bills; prepare demands; monitor negotiations and offers; assist the attorney in medical bill and lien reductions; prepare settlement packets and coordinate client sign-outs.
The candidate must possess a minimum of three (3) years prior experience in managing a Plaintiff’s personal injury caseload. Our ideal candidate will also possess superb interpersonal skills, unquestionable integrity, self-discipline, the ability to adapt to changes in processes and procedures, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, a team-player, the ability to multi-task, be an excellent communicator (written and verbal), have knowledge of TrialWorks Case Management Software and be proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but may not be limited to the following):
- Manage all aspects of personal injury cases from beginning to end
- Gather, analyze, and research information and documents
- Point of communication between the client, attorney, medical providers, lien holders, and insurance companies
- Coordinate and manage medical treatment care for clients as necessary
- Educate the client on case progression and set appropriate client expectations

- Gather all case related medical records and bills

- Litigation experience – May be asked to attend hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree, required
- Paralegal Certification; preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of Personal Injury (Plaintiff) experience, required
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- TrialWorks Case Management Software experience a plus
- Proficiency with computers, telephone lines, and other related office equipment
