A BMW T-boned an ambulance at an intersection in Pinellas Park Friday, July 29, 2022.
A Sunstar ambulance was transporting a patient when it collided with a BMW headed eastbound near the intersection of 118th Avenue North and 49th Street North.
The impact of the crash caused the ambulance to overturn. Five people were inside the ambulance during the crash, including three Sunstar employees, a St. Petersburg Fire Rescue paramedic, and a patient. They were all taken to Bayfront Medical Center.
The patient remains in critical condition.
Two people were in the BMW and refused to go to the hospital to get checked out.
Police said there are no charges at this time.
