The annual U.S. Pro Women’s Clay Court Championships attracts some of the best professional female tennis players from around the world. This week-long event showcased world-class women’s tennis, nightly live entertainment, food and drinks, and a social atmosphere that rivals some of the area’s best.
Both the USTA Pro Circuit and the U.S. Pro Women’s Clay Court Championships boast a rich history of champions. The USTA Pro Circuit was formed in 1979 to provide American players with an opportunity to gain a valuable ranking point on the ATP/WTA tours and has since grown into the largest developmental circuit in the world with over 90 tournaments in the U.S. alone. The U.S. Pro Women’s Clay Court Championships has hosted well-known players such as Billie Jean King, Chris Evert, Martina Navratilova, and Steffi Graff, along with past Pro Circuit players Maria Sharapova, Naomi Ozaka, Coco Gauff, Cici Bellis, and more.
