Woman Died in Manatee County, Stuck by Car

A 71-year-old woman died in Manatee County after she was hit by a car Tuesday, July 19, 2022, evening.

The woman was walking westbound, attempting to cross U.S. 41 southbound lanes at 11:38 p.m.

A 27-year-old Bradenton man driving a sedan crashed the front right of his car into her, killing her at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
