Train Runs Over Pedestrian in Florida

A pedestrian died after being run over by a train in Florida at 3:17 p.m. on Sunday, July 24, 2022.

The Florida Highway Patrol said the incident happened in Osceola County.

Florida Troopers said the pedestrian was lying on the railroad track with their head on the railroad tracks. A train ran over the pedestrian before coming to a complete stop, according to the FHP.

The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. No passengers on the train were injured.
