A 72-year-old Tampa woman died following a multi-vehicle crash in Osceola County Sunday, July 7, 2022.
The crash happened around 11:20 p.m. on State Road 60 and the Peavine Road intersection.
A 40-year-old West Palm Beach woman driving a 2012 Honda Accord eastbound on State Road 60 drifted into the Tampa woman’s path. Both drivers swerved their vehicles to avoid hitting each other, but the right front of the Honda crashed into the Tampa woman’s car.
The Tampa woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman from West Palm beach was transported to the Holmes Regional Medical Center with severe injuries.
