A 23-year-old Sarasota man collided with a concrete power pole along U.S. 41 south of Seagate Drive on Thursday, July 28, 2022.
The was on a motorcycle traveling north on U.S. 41 just south of Seagate Drive. According to the police report, he lost control while changing lanes and collided with the curb.
Then, he traveled off the road and collided with a concrete power pole causing him to fall off his motorcycle and land on the east shoulder of U.S. 41.
The man was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries, according to the FHP. His current condition is unknown.
