Plant City Man Struck and Killed

A 47-year-old man from Plant City was hit and killed by a car while walking across State Road 60 at Turkey Creek Road on Monday evening, Florida Highway Patrol stated.

A 19-year-old woman was headed east in a car on S.R. 60 when the Plant City man walked into her path at the intersection. He died at the scene from his injuries.

Neither the driver nor the passenger riding with her was injured.
