A bicyclist has died of his injuries after an head-on collision in New Port Richey. Friday afternoon, a man on his bicycle was struck by a garbage truck and sadly died of his injuries late Saturday night. His identity is being kept private in accordance to Marsy’s Law which protects victims of crime and withholds info from the public.
State troopers say this incident happened on the sidewalk next to Little Road going north. The driver of the garbage truck was going west on Ridge Road when they met at an intersection. The truck driver tried to turn onto Little Road and hit the cyclist.
