Partner
Gregory J. Perenich is the co-founder of Perenich Law and a driving force behind the firm’s identity as a trusted, legacy-built advocate for the injured. A lifelong Pinellas County resident, Greg’s commitment to justice began in the courtrooms where he watched his father, Guy Perenich, fight for wrongfully injured clients. That early exposure shaped not only his career path but the values that now define the firm—compassion, relentless advocacy, and a deep sense of responsibility to the community.
For more than 30 years, Greg has represented thousands of clients in some of the most complex and emotionally challenging cases—including wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and medical malpractice. His work reflects the firm’s strategic focus on high-impact cases where experience, precision, and persistence truly matter. Greg’s advocacy has led to landmark results, including one of the largest medical malpractice recoveries in Pinellas County history—a settlement exceeding $10 million for the family of an infant who suffered catastrophic injuries due to delayed diagnosis and treatment. More recently, Greg achieved multimillion dollar recoveries in a wrongful death case and a complex medical malpractice case involving pediatric orthopedic surgery.
Greg began his career as a state prosecutor in Miami-Dade County, trying a wide range of cases that sharpened his courtroom instincts and reinforced his belief in ethical, client-centered advocacy. When he returned to the Tampa Bay area, he joined his father’s practice and spent years learning the craft directly from the mentor who inspired the firm’s founding principles. Those experiences continue to shape Perenich Law’s culture of servant leadership, truth seeking, and unwavering dedication to clients navigating life altering loss.
His results and reputation have earned him membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Multi Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and recognition among Florida Legal Elite and Super Lawyers—distinctions that reinforce the firm’s brand promise of seasoned, proven trial advocacy.
Beyond the courtroom, Greg’s leadership extends into the community. He has served as chairman and board member for AdventHealth North Pinellas Foundation and the Kimberly Home Pregnancy Resource Center, sits on the advisory board for the Leepa-Ratner Museum of Art, and is a proud member of the Florida Justice Association. His service reflects the firm’s broader commitment to healing, restoration, and strengthening the communities they serve.
A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and American University’s Washington College of Law, Greg has been married for more than 30 years to his high school sweetheart, Kim, a registered nurse. Together they have two adult sons—Gregory and Matthew—and remain active in their parish at St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church. Greg enjoys golf, traveling with his family, and cheering on Notre Dame and Clemson football.
