What steps should I take if I’m involved in a motor vehicle accident as a pedestrian?

Answer:
Occasionally, I’ll get the question about what to do when clients have been involved in a motor vehicle accident where they were the pedestrian. There are typically very serious injuries when it’s car versus pedestrian. It’s difficult, in those circumstances, for a pedestrian to do all of the right things, so let me just say that there is no right thing, necessarily. If a person, however, can take a few photographs, if they happen to have their cell phone with them, this can be an excellent way to preserve evidence that would otherwise disappear.
